The hoopla and hungama around the national education policy draft of 2019 is just that – a lot of fluff. We survive and progress INSPITE of these so-called policies and programs and most of the measures suggested are cosmetic in nature. They do not reflect a deep engagement with the nature of changes required and the challenges that face humanity in the 21st Century.
How can you talk about Equality when the Reservation policy divides the citizens along the lines of caste, language and religion? How can you bring about innovation when you remain silent about the biggest innovation in finance which is crypto-currency?
Himeesh Madan, a popular YouTuber sums it up beautifully!
I was quite surprised that there were many under currents of issues that tampered with my own ability to reach out to my user base and THIS was the reason that has played a negative role in my life for the past 3-4 years. Thanks to Mahua Moitra for bringing this to the surface!!
There is a growing idealogy that is becoming dominant in the public sphere in India so much so that sound reasoning has taken a back seat. There is a conspiracy of sorts and the human ego (driven by a hyped-mis-understanding mind/brain – endocrine system) complicates our issues by diverting our attention towards things that hardly matter.
A decent meal, twice a day.
A bed to sleep for 5-6 hours at night.
Some money to keep mind & soul alive..
SOMEONE TO LOVE.
What else do human beings need?
We are abandoning the biosphere – leaving the villages to politics & business.
Most of us live in cities and cities where machines are becoming more & more powerful.
Machine learning to make bots that think like humans are complicated stuff. It is so much easier to make human beings behave like machines!
So it was interesting for me to take note of an extra-marital dating app, Gleeden. Curiosity got the better of me so I placed a profile for which I got 2 views in a weeks time. Intrigued, I faked another lady’s profile and lo and behold, the fake lady’s profile received 500 views in 2 days!! What does this say about the basic nature of society in India?
In the race to be seen as progressive and developed, India has adopted means that are not naturally healthy, that do not have a natural basis and we are becoming alienated from our own best selves.
I am a die-hard romantic idealist.
This post is NOT negative – read between the lines and you will see the Light.. 🙂
